Tracey Evans was hired in June 2010 to serve as the first full-time Executive Director of the WCDC. Ms. Evans was a founding member of the WCDC, and as Secretary of the organization, she was instrumental in securing the initial funding for its establishment.

Administration Coordinator

Jennifer joined the WCDC as an intern the summer of 2011. She now serves full- time as the WCDC’s administrative coordinator after obtaining her Masters in Public Administration from the University of Pittsburgh.

Michael Yellets
Beautification Coordinator

Michael Yellets, the Business District Beautification Coordinator, supports the mission of the WCDC to help improve the image of Wilkinsburg and the Wilkinsburg Business District by presenting an attractive, clean business district. He is responsible for hands-on street clean-up and beautification projects, and his work has resulted in a significant reduction of the amount of litter in the business district.

Rebecca Martin
Project Coordinator

Rebecca Martin joined the WCDC in September 2012 as Project Coordinator after graduating from Eastern Mennonite University with degrees in Economics and Sociology. She is a participant in the PULSE program (Pittsburgh Urban Leadership Service Experience), which is a community of young adults who live in Pittsburgh and develop leadership skills through work with a non-profit.
