Tracey Evans was hired in June 2010 to serve as the first full-time Executive Director of the WCDC. Ms. Evans was a founding member of the WCDC, and as Secretary of the organization, she was instrumental in securing the initial funding for its establishment.

Jennifer Alfieri
WCDC Intern & Administration Coordinator

Jennifer joined the WCDC as an intern the summer of 2011. She now serves part- time as the WCDC’s administrative coordinator as she finishes her Masters from the University of Pittsburgh in Public Administration. Originally from the Pittsburgh area, she hopes to continue serving Wilkinsburg and the surrounding neighborhoods after she graduates.

Beautification Coordinator

Michael Yellets, the Business District Beautification Coordinator, supports the mission of the WCDC to help improve the image of Wilkinsburg and the Wilkinsburg Business District by presenting an attractive, clean business district. He is responsible for hands-on street clean-up and beautification projects, and his work has resulted in a significant reduction of the amount of litter in the business district.

Jakob zumFelde

Jakob comes to the WCDC through the PULSE program and is the Project Coordinator. In this role he works to identify and overcome barriers to success in Wilkinsburg’s business district. He is also involved with organizational work in areas such as transportation, green space creation, and dealing with vacant properties.
